The Specialization in Translation seminars offered by Instituto Superior de Estudios Lingüísticos y Traducción (ISTRAD) entail in specific training in one or more of the specialized fields of translation offered by the institution.
The seminars are aimed towards students of any specialization related to modern languages that want to learn and deepen their knowledge in one of the specialized fields of translation offered. These seminars are also available to groups of students from educational institutions who can request specific content in which they may be interested.
The seminars are made for small groups, with a minimum of 10 students and a maximum of 25.
At any moment up until 10 days before the course you wish to take begins.
The sessions are in person at the ISTRAD headquarters in Puerta Jerez, Seville.
Yes, you can do it online if you wish. In this case, the course will take place on the same days but in the morning (10am - 2pm) or in the afternoon (4 pm-8 pm), as selected at the time of registration.
The planned duration of each seminar is one week, resulting in a course load of 25 hours per week, distributed over 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
A week-long seminar costs 350 euros per student. This price includes: seminar attendance, a guided cultural visit through the city and a final certificate of completion of the seminar.

The sessions will be taught in Spanish, with the possibility of interacting in German, English and French throughout the sessions. In the case of groups arranged through educational institutions, the working language will be that of which is requested by the institution.
